But Light Mode can save you
Various tests have already proven that the Exynos 2400 SoC actually turned out to be quite good compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, recent data suggests that the Samsung platform is still much worse in terms of energy efficiency.
If we talk only about the processor part, then there are tests of large and medium cores. In the large core test, the Exynos 2400 performs on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300, while being significantly inferior to both in terms of energy efficiency. The mid-core test looks more interesting, since here the Exynos 2400 competes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but the Dimensity 9300 is very much inferior to them. In terms of energy efficiency, the Samsung platform again comes out last.
You can separately evaluate the Light Mode for large cores, where performance drops by 10%, but consumption is immediately reduced by 30%, making energy efficiency better than that of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Thus, we can say that technically the Exynos 2400 is very good, but its potential is not revealed due to Samsung's 4 nm process technology, which is inferior to that of TSMC.
