Minimum price – 500 dollars
Server manufacturer Supermicro has revealed the characteristics of the new Nvidia accelerator – RTX 2000 Ada.
The device will be offered in two versions: the usual one as a simple GPU for workstations and the so-called E-version – with long-term support and aimed at large corporate clients. There is no difference in characteristics, but there is a difference in price: the price of the regular version – from 500 to 630 dollars, versions E – 600-650 dollars.
RTX 2000 Ada will receive the cooling system from the older model RTX 4000 SFF and will not require additional power (that is, consumption will not exceed 70 W). The GDDR6 memory capacity will be 8 GB. It is likely that the RTX 2000 Ada will use the AD106 GPU, just like the RTX 3000 Mobile Ada. The official premiere of the RTX 2000 Ada is expected next week.
