The smartphone appeared in the IMEI GSMA database
Redmi is busy preparing for the announcement of the Redmi K80 series, while the company has not yet released a K70 series device called Redmi K70 Ultra. Now the new product has been found in the GSMA IMEI database.
Redmi K70 Ultra goes by model number 2407FRK8EC. Letter «C» at the end of the issue suggests that this is a Chinese variant, and like its predecessor, Redmi may not release this phone globally.
The new product will debut on the global market as an updated Xiaomi 14T Pro, which also recently appeared in the IMEI database. As usual, the IMEI database does not reveal any specifications.
The phone is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a 5500mAh battery. According to 3C, it will support 120W wired fast charging. The smartphone will receive up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 flash memory.
It will have an OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and IP68 protection. It is expected that Redmi may launch K70 Ultra this month or in July.
