The large-scale update of Euro Truck Simulator 2 will be celebrated in a big way. SCS Software gave a reason to return to Switzerland
The creators of Euro Truck Simulator 2 are in touch again. SCS Software has reworked Switzerland and is set to launch the World of Trucks global event “Trade Connections – Switzerland” on May 14th.
The developers of Euro Truck Simulator 2 have set a global goal for the community: to deliver 20 000,000 tons of cargo to or from Switzerland. The destination country can be any.
SCS Software notes: “…with the Swiss consuming more chocolate per capita than any other European country, it seems fitting that we have added a new chocolate industry as part of a new and more realistic economy.”
As usual, World of Trucks “external contracts” will count toward the event. Player's personal goal: complete cargo delivery between Switzerland and 10 different countries; the route must be at least 200 km.
The last time the creators of Euro Truck Simulator 2 held the “Trade Connections” event was about six years ago – in 2024 the activity returns triumphantly.
For completing a personal goal you will be given a pair of cockpit decorations – a Matterhorn figurine, as well as country pennants.

For the global goal you will be given a St. Bernard toy
