This is the world's first gas-powered mining dump truck with a lifting capacity of 130 tons
Together with the prototype of the all-electric 120-ton mining dump truck BelAZ-7513E, the Belarusian company presented the world's first gas mining dump truck with a payload capacity of 130 tons, powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) — BelAZ-7513R.
The new model received a modern engine with a power of 1623 hp, an electromechanical transmission, and a pneumatic-hydraulic suspension. Gas is stored in two tanks with a volume of 1400 liters each.
BelAZ says that a gas engine, unlike a diesel engine, requires less frequent maintenance and, due to the difference in the price of gas and diesel, allows you to save on fuel.
