Immortals of Aveum failed to attract much attention at release, but the game still arouses some interest and even receives positive reviews
At the end of August 2023, the magical shooter Immortals of Aveum was released. On Steam, the game did not even reach 1 thousand peak online numbers, and subsequently some of the developers were laid off.
Immortals of Aveum initially received mixed reviews: it was a typical release on the modern Unreal Engine 5 with noticeable technical problems. After a series of patches and participation in the sale, the game's rating has grown, and now reviews on Steam are mostly positive.
Suddenly, Immortals of Aveum became popular again thanks to an advertisement in a video by blogger MrBeast: they showed a version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. He said that a trial version of the game is available on consoles and a demo version on PC on Steam.
The developers themselves attribute the failure of Immortals of Aveum to the fact that the release took place during a period when many other “hot” projects were being released.
