Rostov enterprise «First OKB» is going to start producing drones for courier delivery. The Ministry of Regional Policy and Mass Communications of the Rostov Region said that the company’s design bureau is currently developing a courier unmanned aerial vehicle with a payload of up to 200 kg and a maximum flight range of up to 1 thousand km.
At the moment «First OKB» produces piston aircraft engines, manned and unmanned aerial vehicles weighing from 500 to 1200 kg, as well as the SP-30 manned aircraft. This is the most popular ultra-light aircraft registered in Russia, among other things, it is intended for processing crops, monitoring during harvesting and piloting training.
