It is similar to Core Ultra 5 234V

Data about another Intel Lunar Lake-MX processor has appeared on the Internet. It's called Core Ultra 5 238V.

We've heard about the Core Ultra 5 234V before, and it looks like they're very similar CPUs. More precisely, the processors themselves are generally identical, but the younger one is equipped with 16 GB of RAM, and the older one — 32 GB. Let us recall that Lunar Lake is distinguished by RAM soldered on a common substrate with the CPU, as is implemented in the Apple M SoC.

If the information is correct, Intel will give slightly different names to the same models of the new line with different amounts of RAM, which is not very convenient to understand. However, perhaps there is still a difference in frequencies between Core Ultra 5 238V and Core Ultra 5 234V.

Although the 14th generation Intel Core mobile processors are the latest, they will not receive support for vPro functions. All due to the presence of Core Ultra in the line

Both processors will have four large and four small cores — maximum for Lunar Lake. And they will be distinguished from the older Core Ultra 7 by seven iGPU cores versus eight.

Lunar Lake is expected at the end of the year and will be released only in the form of mobile solutions.
