4 airbags – already standard
This year the MG brand will be very active in Russia: cars will be offered by two distributors, and the number of models should reach approximately 10 by the end of the year. The cost of one of the most affordable cars of the brand has now been revealed — sedan MG 5.
According to Quto.ru, the cost of the car in the basic Comfort configuration will be 2.279 million rubles. Quite a lot, but, firstly, the sedan is not the smallest (length — 4675 mm, wheelbase — 2680 mm), secondly, the base already has four airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, keyless access, media system with 10-inch screen and rear view camera.
Another important aspect — financial. The car will be offered with a direct benefit of 100 thousand rubles, discounts for a proprietary financing program (150 thousand rubles) and trade-in (30 thousand rubles). All this together allows us to reduce the cost to 1.999 million rubles. And with this price, the MG 5 is already a competitor to both the Hyundai Solaris and the top versions of the Lada Vesta.
MG 5 is equipped exclusively with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 114 hp. In the database — manual transmission, but for an additional payment of 70 thousand rubles you can get a car with a CVT.
