First, finished cars will be supplied to Russia, then vehicle kits
«MVL Auto» — importer and distributor Haima — plans to establish production of cars of this Chinese brand in Russia. «MVL auto» signed an agreement with the logistics company Fesco, which will ensure the supply of finished cars and vehicle kits to Russia and the CIS countries.
How and where is it planned to assemble the Haima car — unknown, but there is talk of «localizing the production of Haima cars at sites in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus».
Let us remind you that Haima cars have already been sold in Russia, but without much success: in the period from 2011 to 2016, sales amounted to only 5,264 cars (these were Haima M3 sedans and Haima 7 crossovers). The resumption of Haima sales in Russia became known last fall: first, the Haima 7X compact van appeared in dealers, and then, at the beginning of this year, the 8S crossover. The price of these cars today — 3.2 — 3.6 million rubles.
The Haima dealer network in Russia now consists of 10 showrooms. According to ASM-Holding, in the first two months of this year, only four Haima cars were registered in Russia.
