Several Tales of video games have been removed from the PlayStation Store worldwide without warning.

We're talking about Tales of Hearts R, Tales of Xillia 2 and Tales of Symphonia Chronicles in North America. The three listed games that were released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita are no longer available for purchase. However, in the case of Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, this limitation can be circumvented thanks to a bundle that allows you to purchase two chapters separately. Of course, those who have purchased the games in the past can continue to download them.

The other games in the series, namely Tales of Hearts R, are no longer available for purchase on the European PlayStation Store. Tales of Graces f and Tales of Zestiria. The Japanese market lost only Tales of Innocence R.

This decision raises the question of the preservation of digital video games. Every month, more or less important games are removed from stores, which leads to their oblivion.

Bandai Namco has not announced the removal of the games and has not yet made any statements. A few days ago, Capcom did the same thing by removing Age of Booty from the Microsoft Store. In January, PlayStation removed the 4 version of Gran Turismo Sport from the PlayStation Store without explanation.
