Artificial intelligence will soon replace guides from the Internet. The presented technology will become a reliable assistant in completing games and selecting optimal settings. It seems Nvidia's April Fool's joke has gotten out of control.

Nvidia Project G-Assist is an artificial intelligence technology powered by the Ray Tracing Texel eXtreme platform.  The company positions it as a personal assistant for gaming on personal computers. Possessing computer vision and natural language understanding, G-Assist will be able to analyze the image on the screen and give advice on the passage, choice of strategy and behavior in the game. At the moment, the full launch date of the product on the market is unknown, but Nvidia has already presented a demo version for the game ARK: Survival Ascended.

Additional features include optimizing game settings for maximum performance , in accordance with the available capabilities of the player’s device.

It is assumed that not only owners of the latest new products from the “green company” will have access to the technology – Project G-Assist will be available not only on user devices, but also through cloud servers.

Fun fact: back in 2017, Nvidia posted a joke video on social network X (formerly Twitter) where they introduced the GeForce GTX G-Assist, which can play video games instead of the player.

It is noteworthy that Microsoft has already demonstrated such use of its Copilot at its May Build presentation.

You can see a demo of the new technology in the video below.
