Gemini is already out on smartphones

Google wants to add its latest chatbot Gemini not only to smartphones, but also to headphones.

A mention of this was found in the Google application code, and there is a whole line there that says that Gemini will be available on headphones. 

Recall that Gemini was recently released on Android, where it can replace the usual Assistant. At the same time, headphones, even Google Buds, will still launch Google Assistant, and not Gemini, when the assistant is launched, even if the latter is installed. Apparently, this is exactly what can be changed soon. 

Given that Gemini is a much more capable conversation partner than Assistant, this replacement will clearly appeal to many users.
