The production of smartphones was launched at the enterprises of Ruselectronics and Rostelecom
Companies included in the holding «Ruselectronics» state corporation «Rostec» and Rostelecom, announced the launch of a production line for the assembly of AYYA T1 smartphones. The so-called «trustphone» AYYA T1 is positioned as a Russian secure smartphone with protection against data leaks. The first sales of the device started in the fall of 2021, but it was initially produced in China.
The main feature of the domestic smartphone is the function of hardware disabling the operation of cameras and microphones, which is necessary to ensure privacy and helps prevent unauthorized collection of information. At the same time, the ability to access the Internet, use instant messengers and other important functions remains. AYYA T1 smartphones, assembled at the facilities of a domestic enterprise, are already available for order.
Based on LLC «NPO RTT» (Rostelecom structure) installation of components, packaging, firmware, testing, final assembly and packaging of products is carried out. AYYA T1 is available in two versions: running Android 11 OS and Russian OS «Aurora». The smartphone is based on SoC MediaTek Helio P70, equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory and a 6.55-inch touch display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels.
