And this is a replacement for all smartphones? iFixit disassembled the Rabbit R1 and Humane AI AI terminals and found nothing interesting

Batteries are very small

iFixit specialists decided to disassemble two new devices, which their creators are positioning as some kind of replacement for smartphones. We are talking about AI devices Rabbit R1 and Humane AI.

The devices differ quite noticeably in appearance and in the way they interact, but what they have in common is that they are small «boxes» with artificial intelligence that can answer questions, identify objects through the camera and carry out user tasks without apparently launching any separate programs. So the iFixit disassembly showed that these devices, which are quite unique for the market, are in fact as primitive as possible.

Both products have in common that they are difficult to disassemble and therefore difficult to repair. It's not a fact that it's possible at all. The Rabbit R1 has a battery capacity of only 3.85 Wh, while the Humane AI has only 1.087 Wh.

Both devices also do not have any dedicated AI chips, as all AI tasks are processed on remote servers. iFixit says that in fact, you can use smartphone apps with similar functionality instead of both devices.

At the same time, Rabbit R1 costs $200, but Humane AI will cost an inexplicable $700.
