Minecraft provides players with many opportunities for self-expression. Sometimes impressive creative experiments result

Minecraft fans continue to get creative. Recently, one enthusiast presented a non-standard project.

A player under the nickname mattbatwings several years ago at university became acquainted with neural networks. He was wondering if it would be possible to do something like this in Minecraft using redstone (red dust).

The result was the “Redstone Neural Network” project. The presented neural network is designed to recognize handwritten numbers: it works in the range 0-9, the system analyzes the “drawing” and estimates the probability of which number was drawn – the results can be seen on the board at 15:54; The accuracy of the neural network is about 83%, and calculations take about 2 minutes.
