It is remote controlled and can fight fire up to 65 meters away
Holding «High-precision complexes» State corporation Rostec has developed a robot for extinguishing fires. The Ant-1000PM model will be shown for the first time at the XV exhibition «Integrated Security», which will be held from May 29 to June 1 in the Patriot Park near Moscow. The robotic complex is based on the Ant-1000 mini-loader and can deal with rubble and fire at a distance of up to 65 m.
To fight fire, the robot is equipped with a monitor barrel with a water-foam nozzle, which is mounted on a remotely controlled boom. A control system with external video cameras and sensors allows you to use the machine remotely and not endanger rescuers. This is especially important when extinguishing fires of complex categories, when the temperature at the epicenter exceeds several thousand degrees or there is heavy smoke.
