Screen Gems and PlayStation Production are developing a film adaptation of Until Dawn. Gary Dauberman, who previously helped work on the plots of the duology “It,” “The Curse of the Nun,” and “Annabelle,” was appointed as the screenwriter for the upcoming film, and David F. Sandberg, who directed two parts of “Shazam!”, was placed in the director’s chair.

When the film will premiere and who has been recruited into the cast is currently unknown.

The interactive thriller Until Dawn was released for the first time on the PlayStation 4 console in 2015. The project from the Supermassive Games studio told the story of a group of teenagers who had to survive a night at an estate on Mount Blackwood without becoming victims of a mysterious maniac and eating a nightmarish creature.
