Video game developers are also celebrating April Fool's Day in 2024. Both Western creators and some Russian studios were noted.
On April 1, the authors of Atomic Heart made an announcement related to the upcoming addition No. 3. Previously, Mundfish in the DLC offered a journey through the colorful world of Limbo, and now (allegedly) it is preparing something else – a dating simulator with famous characters:
“Atomic Heart’s upcoming 3rd DLC “Polymer Summer” will feature dating sim mechanics

Such an announcement caused mixed feelings among members of the Atomic Heart community: some laughed, and some were alarmed and hoped that this was just a bad joke from the developers (the authors actively experimented in the DLC and therefore there is an opinion that it can really get down to visual novel elements).
