A new batch of Volkswagen Lavida sedans produced at the FAW-Volkswagen plant in China was delivered to Russia. Dealers from Moscow, Vladimir and Chelyabinsk offer to purchase this «classmate» future Lada Aura for an amount from 2,930,000 to 3,340,000 rubles, as reported by «Auto News of the Day».
On the Internet there are advertisements for the sale of about a dozen of these cars produced in 2023. They are equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine producing 160 hp. and a seven-speed DSG robotic gearbox, which is already well known to Russian drivers from other Volkswagen models.
Russia received not a simple, but a special version of Lavida called Star Edition. These vehicles feature a fine grain grille with LED stripe, unique bumpers, stylish 16-inch alloy wheels, a black mini rear spoiler and black exterior mirror caps.
The equipment of these sedans includes air conditioning, leather interior trim and leather multifunction steering wheel, digital instrument panel, multimedia system with 8-inch touch screen, keyless entry and engine start button, all-LED lighting, electric sunroof and sun blind, rear parking sensors with rear view camera, rain sensor, electromechanical handbrake with AutoHold function.
