«Florida Joker Lawrence Sullivan, whose photo went viral due to his face tattoos in 2017, accused Rockstar Games of using his image in the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. Now he's demanding $2 million from Rockstar Games.

«Everyone says I'm hallucinating, — Sullivan said. — That I'm not the Joker from GTA 6. But it's me, the person they were inspired by. We need to talk, GTA. We need to talk. Or no, you owe me a couple of million», — added Sullivan. — The Joker from Florida won't let that happen. You used my image, you took my life».

If you look back at history, it is unlikely that Sullivan will be able to receive financial compensation from Rockstar. In 2014, actress Lindsay Lohan sued Rockstar Games, claiming that the character Lacey Jones, who appeared on the opening screen of GTA 5, looked, spoke and dressed like her.

The New York Supreme Court rejected Lohan's lawsuit in 2016, ruling that Rockstar «never called Lohan by name or used her real name in a video game, and never used Lohan herself as an actor in the video game and didn't use her photo».

Last week there was a full announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI with the presentation of the first trailer, which turned out to be very popular, as predicted. The video was watched more than 140 million times, giving it more than 10 million likes.
