The Yandex team announced the launch of a useful update to its proprietary mapping service. Now in «Yandex Maps» When constructing a car route, it is proposed to clarify the point at which the trip will end. This may be a drop-off location near the desired entrance or a nearby parking lot.
The driver can choose a convenient arrival point depending on the purpose of the trip: for example, to meet someone at the airport or leave the car in the parking lot for the duration of the trip. The application will tell you how long it will take to get to the desired point and build the optimal route to it. For example, it will suggest turning off the highway early into the parking lot or, conversely, driving further to be right at the airport arrivals area.
Special Yandex technology helps mark arrival points. It studies information about the building itself, entrances, nearby parking lots, and also takes into account data on where drivers usually end their trip. Arrival point data is updated daily. In «Yandex Maps» have already marked more than 200,000 arrival points in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod.
