UAC announced today the transfer of the Tu-204-100B passenger aircraft to Red Wings airline: the airliner was produced at the Ulyanovsk aircraft plant «Aviastar-SP» in 2008 and was in operation until mid-2018. The restoration of airworthiness was carried out by the leasing company «Ilyushin Finance Co.» (IFK): a number of faulty components were replaced in the airliner, the interior was completely updated and the engines were overhauled.

«We continue to return to service the fleet of our existing Russian aircraft: following the cargo Il-96-400T and passenger Tu-214, we are putting into commercial operation an updated and Tu-204», — said IFC General Director Mikhail Podkhvatlin.

The liner is already in Domodedovo, soon it will set off on its first commercial flight after a long stay. The cabin of the Tu-204-100V is made in a single-class layout and is designed for 210 passengers.
