By and large, the Radeon RX 7600 XT is an overclocked Radeon RX 7600 with twice the memory capacity
Today, on the eve of the official opening of CES 2023, AMD rolled out a lot of budget hardware. Thus, inexpensive Ryzen 8000G processors were presented, budget Ryzen 5600GT and Ryzen 5 5500GT debuted for the AM4 platform, and the official premiere of Radeon RX 7600 XT took place. one of the most affordable 3D cards with 16 GB of memory.
The Radeon RX 7600 XT is aimed at those who game on monitors with Full HD or (to a lesser extent) 1440p resolution.
The characteristics (with the exception of memory capacity) are almost exactly the same as the Radeon RX 7600. The new product is built on the Navi 33 GPU and has 32 computing units with 2048 stream processors. Game mode frequency – 2.47 GHz, in Boost mode – 2.76 GHz. The amount of fast memory Infinity Cache second generation – 32 MB.
In relation to the Radeon RX 7600, the memory was doubled while maintaining the 128-bit bus – This is certainly not the best upgrade scenario. Memory frequency – 18 GHz bandwidth – 288 GB/s.
Due to increased frequencies (4-10% relative to Radeon RX 7600) and larger memory, consumption increased by 25 W. It would seem not much, but the video card now requires two eight-pin power connectors instead of one on the Radeon RX 7600. In terms of video outputs, nothing has changed: there are DP 2.1 and HDMI 2.1.
Relative to the Radeon RX 7600, performance increased by 19.42% at Full HD resolution and 46% at 1440p resolution. In terms of pure performance in games at Full HD resolution, the new product surpasses the GeForce RTX 4060 by 7.7%, with FSR technology – already more than 50%.
