The developers of the cooperative shooter recommended that paratroopers use LAS-99 and MG-101 against automata
Two new types of weapons were added to Helldivers 2 today: the MG-101 heavy machine gun and the LAS-99 laser cannon.
- LAS-99 has infinite ammunition and is capable of inflicting enormous damage, which is compensated by slow reloading
- MG-101 deals high damage and has a high rate of fire, however due to powerful recoil can seriously affect shooting accuracy
The developers recommend using the LAS-99 and MG-101 against automata.
Previously, the developers also released an update that eliminated crashes associated with the use of electric weapons.
