AMD understands that long-term socket support — its advantage over Intel. The AM5 platform will be supported until 2025 and even beyond

A new processor was quietly listed on the AMD website: Ryzen 7 5700.

This is an eight-core representative of the AM4 platform based on Zen 3 architecture. It operates at frequencies of 3.7–4.6 GHz and has a TDP of 65 W. At the same time, the page on the official website also states that the TDP can be adjusted in the range from 45 to 65 W. For comparison: the Ryzen 9 5900 does not have this in the description, nor do other 65-watt Ryzen 5000 without a graphics core. But the Ryzen 7 5700G says the same. And all because the Ryzen 7 5700 belongs to the Cezanne line, and not Vermeer, that is, it is based on a mobile monolithic crystal. Among other things, this means the presence of 16 MB of L3 cache, rather than 32 MB as in full-fledged desktop models. In fact Ryzen 7 5700 — This is a Ryzen 7 5700G with iGPU disabled. The new product is expected to cost about $180.
