The airliner flew from Zhukovsky to Adler
The United Aircraft Corporation announced that the Tu-214 airliner, returned to the Red Wings fleet, made its first flight. The video below shows how it happened.
«This is a good and reliable domestic car. After the modernization, we actually received a new aircraft with a completely new interior. We have good experience working with aircraft of the Tu-204/214 family, and we will fully assist the UAC with the commissioning of new such machines», – said Deputy General Director for Fleet Management of Red Wings Ekaterina Rukhlova.
Recall that the Tu-214 shown in the video was released in 2009. Until 2015, it was operated by the Transaero airline, and as part of the Red Wings fleet it operated flights from August 2016 to the end of September 2017. For the last few years, Tu-214s have been operated mainly by the special flight squad «Russia».
