Nissan will attend the 2024 Tokyo Auto Show with an extensive lineup of vehicles based on existing production vehicles.
Nissan's Emergency Services Van, or Mobile Disaster Support Center, is based on the Caravan and will be powered by batteries from the Nissan Leaf. The vehicle is designed to be used during natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods when there is no electricity around.
In addition, Nissan showed a teaser of the Crawler concept with a raised suspension and a large roof rack with an integrated LED strip. The SUV will receive appropriate tires and a powerful body kit with additional trim. Nissan says the cargo area «has the tools you've always been looking for in an X-Trail».
In addition, the manufacturer will show a tiny Roox minivan based on the Mitsubishi eK Space. It was created in collaboration with Japanese fashion house Beams and features denim on the inside and outside.
Also expected to show the March minicar, sports versions of the X-Trail Autech crossover and the Serena Autech minivan, as well as the Nismo Skyline, Z and GT-R variants.
The next Tokyo Motor Show will be held on January 12–14, 2024.
