The Gothic fan community is quite large. Among the participants there are sometimes particularly creative people who decide to do something with their favorite franchise.
Sometimes this desire results in modifications, like The Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos Of Myrtana: Archolos), and sometimes into works based on it. The author of the YouTube channel Zły Maciek came up with such a project – he decided to imagine what the cult “Gothic” could look like in the anime style of 1985, not without the characteristic VHS effect.
The result pleasantly surprised the Gothic community. One of the viewers joked that he watched such a show on TV in the 90s.

For the foreseeable In the future, there will be a full-fledged “game” reason to remember “Gothic” – the studio Alkimia Interactive is developing an official remake of the first Gothic, but the exact release date is still in question. From time to time, developers get in touch and publish materials in the game community on Steam.
