There is a catch with autonomy
In addition to the Beats Solo 4 over-ears for $200, Apple today introduced Beats Solo Buds — the company's cheapest fully wireless headphones.
The Beats website states that the headphones can last up to 18 hours. This is a lot for headphones of this class, and one would think that we are talking about time taking into account the case, although then it would be very little. But no. The Solo Buds are truly head and shoulders above almost all other headphones of this type and can actually last up to 18 hours on a single charge in the case. However, there is the same catch. And it lies in the fact that the case does not contain its own battery. Yes, thanks to this the case itself is very compact and light, but in the end the user loses in total autonomy compared to the classic layout.
The headphones weigh 5.7 g each, and the case — 22 g. There are four colors to choose from: black, gray, purple and red, and in the latter case the case is transparent.
