They work without recharging for 21 days
Vivo has introduced a new smart watch, Watch GT. This is the brand's first model with a rectangular screen; its design is reminiscent of the Apple Watch. The new product is equipped with a 1.85-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 450×350 pixels and curved glass on all four sides, and the body is made of aluminum alloy. The smartwatch also supports eSIM.
Vivo Watch GT has a built-in heart rate monitor and blood oxygen saturation sensor. The battery capacity is 505 mAh, charging is wired only. With eSIM enabled, battery life is 9 days in power saving mode and 3 days in normal use. If eSIM is disabled, the watch will last up to 21 and 10 days without recharging, respectively.
The device runs BlueOS with support for artificial intelligence functions: for example, you can dictate a note to the watch, and it synchronizes it with the «Notes» on a smartphone. Additionally, the watch can display the latest travel itinerary or ticket information and provide reminders. Vivo Watch GT also supports NFC and QR code payments, which can be set up through the vivo app.
The weight of the device is 33 grams (without strap), the smartwatch is available in black and white colors and supports 20 mm wide straps, rubber or leather. The vivo Watch GT costs 799 yuan ($110) for the black version and 899 yuan ($125) for the white version. Sales on the Chinese market will start on June 14.
