In Germany, the SUV was sold out at a rate of 1.8 cars per second
In Germany and Spain there is a rush of demand for the newest Land Cruiser Prado 250 (in Europe, as in the USA, the car is simply called Land Cruiser). In Germany, the first batch of a thousand cars in the top-end First Edition configuration was sold out in 30 minutes. In Spain, cars were sold a little longer (250 cars were reserved in a couple of hours), but the purchasing power there is not the same as in Germany.
In the EU, the Land Cruiser is available in three trim levels — Executive, Tec Edition and First Edition. The latter costs 86 thousand dollars. And it's not cheap even for Germany.
Delivery of the new Land Cruiser in Europe will start only in the third quarter of 2024. In China, sales will start in the summer, and in the USA the SUV will be released earlier — already in the spring of 2024.
