This electric bus was created specifically for St. Petersburg
The serial electric bus KAMAZ-6282 ONC, shown for the first time last year at the Comtrans 2023 exhibition, appeared in St. Petersburg: on February 21 it went on line and is working on No. 7 of the Northern capital. While the operation is test, it will last a month.
KAMAZ-6282 ONC differs from the classic KAMAZ-6282 model in the increased capacity of the traction battery, which eliminates the need for charging along the route: KAMAZ-6282 ONC is charged only at night in the park, at cheap rates.
The capacity of the traction lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery was 499 kW⋅h. The bus received two synchronous electric motors with permanent magnets as part of electric portal bridges, the total power — 360 kW (489 hp). The passenger capacity of KAMAZ-6282 ONC is up to 85.
