This time the welding failed
According to the Lada.Online resource, AvtoVAZ has announced another service campaign, within which the Lada Niva Legend will be repaired.
In accordance with Regulation No. 14-24, dealers will check the weld points on the tailgate under the plastic trim. If a defect is found, the cover will be repaired: a rivet will be installed in the place where the welding point should have been and it will be treated with anticorrosive.
Since the campaign is a service campaign and not a recall campaign, the vehicle will be inspected upon the owner’s first visit to the service center. All work will be performed free of charge.
