New, but only formally, 14th generation Intel Core processors will be presented on January 8
Microsoft has revealed all the names of upcoming Intel mobile processors before their official announcement.
New CPUs are listed as supported for Windows 11 22H2 and 23H2 update. As you can see, we are talking about three lines: simply Core, Core i and Core Ultra.
Core i — These are Raptor Lake Refresh processors, which technically are practically no different from the current Raptor Lake. Core Ultra — These are the new Meteor Lake, which will be presented tomorrow. And the usual Core, judging by early data, is also Raptor Lake Refresh, but in the form of energy-efficient models.
