The former Xbox exclusive came out on PlayStation 5 and works better there than on its native consoles. Hi-Fi RUSH performance was compared on four devices

In general the game is going great everywhere

While Horizon Forbidden West was released on PC, ceasing to be a PlayStation exclusive, Microsoft released its exclusive for the first time on PS5. And it turned out that it works better on the Sony console than on the Xbox.

Hi-Fi RUSH appeared on PS5 a couple of days ago. The game was created on Unreal Engine 4 and in general does not stand out with any very modern graphics, so from a performance point of view it works equally well on PC, PS5, and both Xbox Series — at 60 fps. True, the Series S has a lower rendering resolution than older consoles (1440p versus 4K).

But here's what's interesting, so these are the advantages of PS5 over Xbox. Firstly, the game loads a little faster on the Sony console. More precisely, in absolute terms the difference is only 1 second, but in relative terms — already one and a half times. Secondly, shadows are better on PS5 for some reason. And even better than on PC. However, this only applies to certain objects.

In general, Hi-Fi RUSH works great everywhere, but the advantages of PlayStation 5 over Xbox, considering the creators of the project, looks interesting.
