Total 250,000 vehicles

Mercedes-Benz announced the start of a recall campaign, which covers about 250 thousand cars around the world, as TASS writes

This was originally reported by the DPA agency with reference to the Federal Motor Vehicle Administration of Germany. We are talking about AMG GT, C-Class, CLE, E-Class, EQE, EQS, GLC, S-Class and SL cars released in 2023.

The reason for the recall is that some fuses may not meet safety standards, which could cause engine failure and increase the risk of fire.

More than 37 thousand cars will be recalled in Germany alone. A company spokesperson said certain parts in the vehicles in question will be replaced as a precaution.
