As Avia.ru reports, the domestic streaming system, developed by Aerogroup, has already started working on more than 80 aircraft of the Airbus A320 line of Aeroflot. Let us remind you that this system stopped working after the introduction of large-scale sanctions against Russian airlines. In December 2022, the first 20 A320s were connected to Russian development, and now the number of such airliners has increased to 87.
The streaming system allows passengers to connect to an extensive database of movies and music, educational content and content for children on their mobile devices. Such systems are used mainly in narrow-body, medium-haul aircraft. In the wide-body aircraft of the national carrier — Boeing 777, Airbus A350 and Airbus A330 — the system is different, stationary, with screens built into the backs of the seats.
On the rest of its narrow-body aircraft (37 Boeing 737 and nine Airbus A320neo) «Aeroflot» will update media systems by the end of 2024.
