Razer today announced two new gaming laptops – Blade 16 and Blade 18. The peculiarity of these models – in screens. Thus, the Razer Blade 16 became the world's first laptop with a 16-inch OLED display with a frame rate of 240 Hz. Resolution – 2560 x 1600 pixels, pixel response time – only 0.2 s.
Razer Blade 18 – also the first in the world, but it already has an 18-inch panel with 4K resolution and a frame rate of 165 Hz. Apparently, this is an IPS panel, since in the description of the Blade 18 – not a word about OLED.
The displays of both laptops are pre-calibrated at the factory to cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. The housings of the devices are made of aluminum. There are no other details about the equipment, but it is noted that the new products use Nvidia 3D accelerators. Well, the processors will most likely be the top 14th generation Intel Core CPUs of the HX line.
