The car will be called C-Neo
Dacia, known for its budget crossover Duster, plans to release a new C-Class model before the long-awaited Bigster crossover. This was reported by Motors Actu with reference to Patrice Levy-Bencheton, brand product director.
The new product, tentatively called C-Neo, will be a «five-door» with a liftback body, combining the features of a station wagon and a sedan. The C-Neo is expected to compete with models such as the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla and Opel Astra.
Dacia CEO Denis Le Vot noted that the company will no longer be shy about pricing. He added that customers turning to Dacia are no longer looking for the lowest priced car on the market. The buyer comes for a car with the most necessary options and a good price-quality ratio.
According to Motors Actu, the presentation of the Dacia C-Neo may take place in the second half of 2024, but these dates have not yet been officially confirmed. It is worth noting that at the moment no test prototypes of the future model have been seen.
As for the Dacia Bigster crossover, its entry into the market is expected no earlier than 2025.
