Baojun Motors has officially announced that the Baojun Yue 2024 will be officially released in the middle of this month. Recall that the all-electric crossover Baojun Yep, which is called the «Chinese Suzuki Jimny», was released about a year ago .
The manufacturer announced improvements in design, interior materials, as well as new storage spaces and improved driver assistance features. The new car adds three new colors to the existing colors Sunrise Orange, Morning Green and Space Black: Sea of Clouds White, Mountain Mist Gray and Sunburst Blue. Gloss black multi-spoke wheels are also available.
The car adds a center armrest with storage space, optimizes the position of the water cup holder and gear shift knob, and adds a new sports car-style seat belt buckle.
The seats can be folded independently, and the maximum luggage capacity is 715 liters. The car will come standard with features such as automatic wipers, keyless entry, remote up/down of all anti-pinch windows and cruise control.
The new car will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 50 kW and a maximum torque of 140 N·m. It comes standard with MacPherson independent front suspension and a three-link rear suspension with an integrated axle. The damping forces of the front and rear shock absorbers have been adjusted to cover all everyday driving scenarios.
The car has a CLTC range of 303 km and also supports fast charging.
