Price promised at the level of Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos
«Motor Place», which was previously the exclusive distributor of Honda in Russia, promised to introduce two SUVs of the Chinese brand VGV to the Russian market in 2024. We are talking about mid-size models up to 5 meters long and with a capacity of 7 people. They promised different gearboxes (both manual and automatic), good equipment, but most importantly – price.
«The biggest surprise for the market will be the price. Over the past couple of years, no one else in Russia has broken into the base price segment with a large seven-seat crossover, dominated by Duster, Creta and Seltos», — said the head of «Motor Place» Mikhail Plotnikov.
In general, VGV’s entry into the Russian market was planned for this year, but this never happened. However, VGV crossovers are sold in Russia, imported by individuals and companies on their own initiative.
For example, back in the summer, a VGV U70 Pro with a length of 4825 mm and a wheelbase of 2800 mm was offered for 2.5 million rubles. It is possible that one of the two announced models is exactly this.
