On sale – January 2024
The Lexus UX300 crossover has two new versions: the hybrid UX300h and the purely electric UX300e. Both will go on sale in Japan in January 2024, but the hybrid will be a little earlier – at the beginning of the month.
These models are no different from the regular UX300, except for the power plant. Lexus UX300h received a power plant partially borrowed from the Toyota Prius – with a 2.0-liter M20A-FXS engine. In this case, the engine power was 152 hp (and in general it varies from 144 to 178 hp). An electric motor with a power of 113 hp is installed on the front axle of the crossover, and on the rear axle – another electric motor with a power of 41 hp. The total power of the system – 199 hp
The electric version is a little more powerful – 203 hp, but no all-wheel drive (the only electric motor is installed at the front). The capacity of the traction battery was 72.8 kW·h, the declared range – up to 512 km according to the WLTC measurement method.
Car prices have already been announced: Lexus UX300h – $31.8-39.5 thousand, Lexus UX300e – 45.3-49 thousand dollars.
