Starfield will not repeat the success of Cyberpunk 2077. It is simply impossible to fix Bethesda's game, gamers say

The release version of Starfield wasn't very good. Some believe in a revival following the example of Cyberpunk 2077, but increasingly there are thoughts that there is nothing to save here

Starfield came out last year and received mixed reviews from players. Bethesda's vision, as well as the technical state of the game, raised a lot of questions.

The developers are slowly releasing patches with fixes for Starfield, but in the community there is increasingly an opinion that such a game is not trivial save, as happened with Cyberpunk 2077 – it didn’t have the smoothest launch, but CD Projekt RED managed to “pull out” the project.

TWTHEREDDRAGON expressed his opinion:

“In order to have a redemption arc, this is how Cyberpunk 2077 is being restored and improved, you need the right qualities; Games like Cyberpunk and Sea of Thieves were able to get their redemption arcs because even though they launched poorly, people could tell that underneath all the problems there was fun, and Starfield just wasn't fun. History is boring. The gameplay is outdated. I don't think there's anything underneath that's worth saving. The only thing she was good at was generating memes.”
