44 launches per year

SpaceX is going to build a specialized launch complex for its Starship rockets. According to Bloomberg, the new facilities will be located at the John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

According to SpaceX, the new launch complex will allow the company to launch up to 44 Starship launches per year. Previously, the US Federal Aviation Administration announced the preparation of a project environmental impact statement, which is an important document for construction approval.

Starship is conceived by Elon Musk as a universal transport system for manned flights into low-Earth orbit, launching satellites, as well as missions to the Moon, Mars and other planets. It is assumed that the reusable super-heavy accelerator Super Heavy and the Starship ship will perform vertical takeoffs and landings.
