CPU configuration differs from Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
The parameters of the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 single-chip system, which is due to hit the market in the near future, have leaked online.
Insider Digital Chat Station claims that the new SoC will have one Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of 2.9 GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores with a frequency of 2.6 GHz and three Cortex-A520 cores with a frequency of 1. 9 GHz. The configuration will also include an Adreno 732 GPU, but this doesn’t tell us anything.
As for the CPU, its configuration is significantly different from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with its 1+3+2+2 formula and is similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 configuration, only with more modern cores.
Thus, the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 should definitely be very productive. Quite likely, at the level of the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which has higher frequencies.
Unfortunately, it is worth remembering that the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2, which is also very powerful for the Snapdragon 7 line, has been on the market for almost a year, but it seems that only three smartphone models were released with it. So it's not a fact that Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 will be widespread.
Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.
