Based on Ryzen APU
Tecno yesterday showed Pocket Go an unusual augmented reality gaming device. At the time, it was unclear what platform it was based on. Now this information has hit the Internet.
The new product is based on the Ryzen 7 8840HS APU with iGPU Radeon 780M. That is, this is approximately the maximum graphics performance that can be obtained in this segment.
The glasses, which in this case seem to replace a monitor or TV, are equipped with a pair of Micro-OLED screens with a diagonal of 0.71 inches each. They connect to the console via USB-C. However, they can be connected to other PCs.
The console is also equipped with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The battery capacity is considerable for this class – 50 W·h. As a result, we have an almost ordinary portable game console with Windows, but which uses glasses instead of a regular screen.
