Medium-sized Seres M5 and M7
will go on sale first
The former Russian office of Mercedes-Benz (now the company is called «MB RUS») announced the launch of official sales of Seres cars in Russia. The Seres M5 and M7 SUVs will go on sale in May-June (but you can order them right now), and sales of the Seres M9 — analogues of the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Maybach GLS — will start in the fourth quarter. Prices — in the photo below. Cars come in REEV (serial hybrid) versions, but in China the M5 and M9 have pure electric variants.
All cars will be fully Russified and will receive an official guarantee («MB RUS» — distributor of Seres in Russia).
In fact, M5 and M7 are already sold in Russia, but under the Aito brand, and are imported under parallel import schemes. Aito — this is a joint brand of Seres and Huawei, and the development of the machines is actually carried out by Huawei, and Seres is mainly responsible for the assembly. Aito (and in particular the Aito M7) have already become a hit in China.
