Belgee X50 is partially localized, it contains Russian and Belarusian components
Resource Browser «Behind the Wheel» Kirill Mileshkin spoke about the differences between the two versions of one compact crossover — Belgee X50 and Geely Coolray. Their most important difference is the price: a Belarusian car costs from 2.29 to 2.5 million rubles, while for the updated Coolray they ask from 2.61 to 2.95 million rubles.
At the same time, both cars are front-wheel drive, with robotic gearboxes and 1.5-liter turbo engines, but the power is slightly different: 147 hp. the updated Coolray has 150 hp. at Belgee X50.
The body panels of the Belgee X50 are Chinese, but the welding and painting of the car is carried out in Belarus at the Belgee plant. Belgee has a number of localized components from Russian and Belarusian suppliers: battery, glass, tires and wheels. In the future, headlights, bumpers, a gas tank and some other plastic elements will become Belarusian.
