Samsung is set to play a significant role in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris by placing more than 200 Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones (review) on boats on the Seine River. The project was implemented jointly with the  International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Broadcasting Service (OBS).

There is about a month left before the opening ceremony. As part of the ceremony, a parade of ships on the Seine is planned. As the company notes, Samsung will install Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones on 85 ships with Olympic athletes.
